Kitchen of Life

Kitchen of Life (KOL) is a nonprofit organization that nurtures resilience and interpersonal skills through immersive, hands-on culinary experiences. In a supportive, commercial kitchen setting, students develop leadership, communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills while fostering teamwork, connection, and a sense of belonging. Beyond food preparation, KOL promotes positive youth development, builds resilience, generosity, and independence, and instills social-emotional literacy to prepare participants for future challenges.
