Mikhail Gebhardt

Director

Mikhail Gebhardt was adopted from Russia at five by two wonderful parents, Kara Trott and Randy Gebhardt. Since then, Mikhail has undergone various treatment programs better to understand his addiction and past trauma in Russia. After many years of treatment, Mikhail started a new chapter where he could support disaster survivors as an employee of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Not only has he had the opportunity to change his life around and make the most of it, but he was able to start a family with his wife, Jacquie, and son Kaizen.

Mikhail has had a true passion for helping people ever since he was a young age and is excited to support organizations and individuals in learning resilience in their work of self-discovery and change. Misha’s support includes serving on the Advisory Board for the Jeffrey Schottenstein Program for Resilience at The Ohio State University.
